A sneak peak into the makingS of GLNL:
I was not a graphic designer before this job…now I know Adobe Illustrator from front to back
Good Luck N Life is a practical life organization system designed to give young adults something most of us never get: a starting place.
At the center of the product is a keepsake box designed to become a home for important life documents. Inside is a 23-card guide packed with practical information on everything from health, money, insurance, and taxes to car ownership, travel, relationships, etiquette, and more. Each card organizes a wealth of information into two easy-to-reference sections: “Do This” for actionable steps and “Good to Know” for helpful tips, reminders, and knowledge to carry with you. To read those, you’ll have to purchase the product :). The set also includes a drawstring bag for the cards, a blank notepad, a packing list notepad, and a dedicated car envelope for keeping essential vehicle documents organized.
The idea behind Good Luck N Life was inspired by the kind of wisdom that gets passed down over time—the advice, reminders, and practical knowledge that can make navigating adulthood feel a little less overwhelming. It’s not about having everything figured out, but about knowing where to start and feeling more prepared for whatever life throws your way.
I’ve had the opportunity to help build Good Luck N Life from the ground up, playing a hands-on role in shaping both the product and the brand. From researching, editing, and condensing the information across all 23 cards to refining the brand voice, designing product elements and mockups, and working through manufacturing details, bringing GLNL to life has been an exciting learning curve. Seeing something I’ve had such a large hand in developing evolve from an idea into a tangible product has been one of the most rewarding parts of the process—and has taught me just how much thought, iteration, and problem-solving goes into building a brand from scratch.
